Madonna Bauch holds a B.F.A. in Dance from the University of Texas at Austin. As part of her dance studies, she spent one year at the Laban Centre in London, where she studied modern dance, ballet, improv, choreography, Pilates, dance performance, anatomy, and music. Upon graduation from UT, she returned to London to work with graduate dance students at the Laban Centre. She has also studied with the Alvin Ailey School of Dance in New York City. Originally from Dallas, she performed professionally with 3 / A Modern Dance Company. Since moving to Houston, she has performed with The Sandra Organ Dance Company at the Miller Outdoor Theatre and Amy Ell at Diverse Works. Madonna is comprehensively certified for Pilates through The PilateSystem® by Colleen Glenn, and spent 2½ years heading up the Pilates program at the Houstonian Lite downtown until having her baby, Grace, in April 2008. She is also a Peak Pilates teacher/trainer. Madonna is thankful to be healthy and enjoys sharing movement with others whether it is on stage, in the studio, or on the playground with her daughter.
